There are of course many titles people were excited to see in Gamescom Opening Night Live, but for horror fans and longtime gamers, Silent Hill f is on the top. And Konami delivered! The new gameplay footage excitedly horrified fans with new monsters and haunting scenery. Plus some goodies for gamers on the ground!

Konami showcased new footage from Silent Hill f in Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025. It featured more of the gameplay, some combat, new monsters, and more of Hinako Shimizu. Just before the trailer dropped, Suzie Yeung was announced to voice Hinako in the English version. This has pleased many fans as Yeung did a fantastic job voicing Yuffie in Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Like previous Silent Hill f trailer drops, the new one is again a standout. Its eerie atmosphere, paired with fog-blanketed Japanese streets, houses, and even shrines, made this standalone Silent Hill entry, a game in its own league.

   

The trailer features several grotesque new monsters and an interesting male character who seems to be central to the story. While the visuals gave a pretty terrifying feel of the game, the writing did more. Lines like “You saved my life and laid claim to my soul”, “Please just die”, “Kill everyone”, and “A good day is always an extraordinary day, An extraordinary day isn’t always a good thing” made the trailer even more haunting.

With just a little over a month before the game launches, excitement is palpable. And this is especially true for those who attended the event. Gamers on the ground were able to enjoy some exclusive goodies like Silent Hill f-themed mini hoodies, stickers, and a keychain. Plus a 10-minute theatre showcase which our Allkeyshop special correspondent, Kilian Binder, was able to witness.

   

Silent Hill f is scheduled to release on September 25, 2025 for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Preorders now live on all platforms mentioned.
