Know All About The Destiny 2 Weekly Reset
For those who do not know, there is a Destiny 2 weekly reset as well as a daily reset. This is something that found in the MMO genre, however, Destiny 2 is a little bit different.

Why the Daily and Weekly Rests?
This is because Bungie wants to put limits to the repeated activities (grinding) in order to even out the endgame grind. A huge part of Destiny 2 is about grinding and the resets will actually help in evening out the distance between players progress.
When are the Rests?
There are two types of resets, first the Daily Reset, this actually changes with the daylight savings time. The Reset starts at 2 AM PDT from March to November and 1 PST from November to March.
The Weekly Rests, on the other hand, will be every Tuesday.
What do the Resets bring?
Daily Rests:
Every daily reset will have new progression and rewards for challenges and replayable adventures.
Weekly Resets:
Changes are for the post-campaign phase of the game. These include the activities like Lost Sectors, Public Events as well as strikes that will raise your power. When you reach higher levels in the game these exercises will be lesser.
