The Keepsake Games team is getting ready for the launch of Jump Ship, their upcoming co-op space shooter set to release in 2025!

Jump Ship is the co-op space shooter in development by Keepsake Games. The game, under development since 2021, offers a co-op adventure for up to 4 players. You’ll be able to explore a universe filled with adventure and dangers, both in space and on solid ground.
Originally called Hyper Space and built on Unity, by a small Swedish indie team made up of industry veterans, including former members from Mojang, Hazelight, Coffee Stain and Dice. The name was updated in 2024, and amassed quite a lot of interest and currently holding the #54 spot in Steam’s Most Wishlisted games list.
Jump Ship: Early Access Period and Beta Sign-ups Announced
After the Dev Stream on Discord dedicated to Jump Ship, the team at Keepsake Games brings some news on the game. With brand new info coming directly from the ID@Xbox Showcase on 24th February 2025, occasion where the team revealed the game trailer. Giving us a glimpse of Jump Ship’s frantic co-op space adventure.
Also featuring some humor, including a space Pineapple Pizza, likely something from the former Coffee Stain members. Following the announcement of the Early Access release date for Summer 2025. With the opportunity to sign up for the Closed Beta on the official website.

Jump Ship: What Keepsake Games’ Co-op Offers
Keepsake Games will soon reveal when we can get our hands on the Beta version of the game. The title presents itself as a PvE co-op FPS experience, particularly featuring:
- Mission System: A co-op mission based adventure. With some randomized elements to make every session unique.
- Exploration: You can board or disembark your ship seamlessly, being able to explore both space and planets on foot.
- Upgrades, Maintenance, and Repairs: As the base of our operation, we can upgrade our ship, as well as perform maintenance and repairs.
- Solo or with Friends: Primarily designed as a co-op adventure, but playable solo as well.
The team also decided to release a gameplay showcase, offering us 10 minutes of content, with many comparing the experience to a space-themed Sea of Thieves.
In Conclusion
Jump Ship certainly has great potential to become one of the most fun co-op games of 2025. Keepsake Games will soon release more information, including the official release date, price, and system requirements.
