Update Sept 16 – Alongside the wave 2 list entering Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft also revealed the games leaving the service. It is still not a long list which is great but it’s a big blow to Ninja Gaiden fans as 3 out of 4 are entries in the franchise. Here are the games set to depart Xbox Game Pass on September 30, 2025.
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Terra Invicta *Game Preview (PC)
Original publication – Like August, Xbox Game Pass members will be glad to know that only three titles are leaving the service for the first half of this month. While still good games and worth playing, it’s a relief to know that no major title is leaving soon. Plus, if you haven’t played any of these, you can probably finish all three as they’re not massively long to complete.
Games Leaving Game Pass September 2025
Microsoft revealed that three games are set to depart from Game Pass in the middle of the month. First off is All You Need is Help which was a surprise day-one launch last year. The game is a quirky coop puzzle game where fluffy cube-shaped creatures team up to solve over 160 stages using simple, intuitive controls that make teamwork essential. Play locally or online with friends, mix and match multiplayer modes, or even share one controller in Duo Mode.
Second one and probably the “biggest” game of the lot is We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie which entered service also in September of last year. The game is a remastered edition of the beloved 2005 sequel, bringing refreshed graphics, revamped UI, and quirky new features to the fan-favorite cosmic rolling adventure.
Lastly, Wargroove 2 is leaving Game Pass too, a year after its Xbox debut. It is a tactical turn-based strategy game featuring new Commanders, an enhanced Groove system, and fresh campaigns set three years after the first game. Alongside the new roguelike Conquest mode, players can battle across land, sea, and sky, create and share custom maps and campaigns, and enjoy both local and online multiplayer for up to four players.

All of these games are currently available at 20% off for Game Pass members until they officially leave the service on September 15th. It’s a great opportunity to purchase any favorites you want to keep, or finally grab that game you’ve been meaning to try before it disappears from the library.
