UPDATED Full List of Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass for October 2025

Check out the full list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass in February 2025. Play these titles before they’re gone from the library!
Update October 21 – Microsoft has updated the Leaving Soon section for Xbox Game Pass. Leaving on October 31st are:
- JUSANT (PC, Console), a serene climbing adventure about scaling a mysterious tower (must-play!);
- METAL SLUG TACTICS (PC, Console), a tactical spin on the classic arcade shooter; and
- RETURN TO MONKEY ISLAND (PC, Console), a witty point-and-click sequel in the beloved pirate-themed series.
This totals to 6 titles gone from the library by the end of the month.
Update October 9 – As per Microsoft, only three games will leave the service on October 15th. Donut County will continue to be part of the library until further notice. Turns out, although Donut County was not part of the official announcement, it did leave the service on the 15th.
Original publication – While everyone’s eyes and minds are on the Game Pass restructuring, let’s not forget the other important updates like games entering and leaving the service. There was a big game drop alongside the new tiers announcement but the official wave 1 list for October has not been revealed yet. However, the Leaving Soon section was already updated and as it stands, we have 4 games to bid farewell to in 2 weeks.
Games Leaving Game Pass October 2025
Xbox finally updated the Leaving Soon section so we can expect the formal announcement of the entire wave 1 list today. But while we wait for that, here is a quick view of the games set to depart Xbox Game Pass on October 15, 2025.
- COCOON (PC, Console) – is a cosmic puzzle adventure where you carry entire worlds as orbs, jump between dimensions, manipulate alien machinery, and face colossal guardians to unravel the secrets of a mysterious universe.
- CORE KEEPER (PC, Console) – is a mining sandbox adventure where up to eight players explore vast underground caverns, gather resources, build bases, farm, fish, and battle giant monsters while uncovering the mystery of the ancient core.
- DONUT COUNTY (PC, Console) – is a quirky physics-based puzzler where you play as a mischievous raccoon controlling a growing hole that swallows everything from objects, houses, and even residents
- TMNT: MUTANTS UNLEASHED (PC, Console) – is a colorful 3D action adventure where you play as the Turtles to battle chaotic new mutants, help citizens, deliver pizzas, and uncover mysteries across New York City solo or with friends.
Although there’s only four titles, each is actually a really good game. A definite highlight is Cocoon, a highly-acclaimed puzzle adventure game which you shouldn’t miss. It was recently on the news too as being part of this month’s PS Plus monthly games.
Core Keeper is another game worth playing but among the list, whether console or PC version, it has the longest time to complete. So you may need to forgo the others for this. Donut County is also a good puzzle game which is very addictive. Like Cocoon, it won’t take long to complete.
Finally, we have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Unleashed which is a beat em up game featuring our favorite turtles. It’s fun and chaotic but unlike the other three, the reviews are just okay.
All of these games are currently available at 20% off for Game Pass members until they officially leave the service on October 15th.
