Update May 18 – The Leaving Soon section has been updated again. Five more games are set to leave the service and it does not include Jurassic World Evolution 2, Little Kitty Big City, and Planet of Lana which were previously included for wave 1.
The games set to leave on May 31st are:
- Remnant II
- Cassette Beasts
- Humanity
- Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer
- Firework (PC)
Update May 7 – The first set of games leaving Game Pass has been revealed and while eight games were shown in the Leaving Soon section, the announcement only included five. It’s uncertain whether that was a glitch or Jurassic World Evolution 2, Little Kitty Big City, and Planet of Lana are still leaving but not on the 15th.
Original publication – While Microsoft hasn’t officially announced the full list of games coming to or leaving Xbox Game Pass this month, the “Leaving Soon” section on Xbox Cloud Gaming has quietly updated.
Games Leaving Game Pass May 2025
On May 15th, eight games are scheduled to leave Xbox Game Pass. Among them is the award-winning Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, a deeply emotional adventure that has moved countless players with its unique gameplay and heartfelt story. Fans will also have to part with Chants of Sennaar, a beautifully crafted game praised for its clever language puzzles and artistic world, and Little Kitty, Big City, a light-hearted and charming experience that has captured hearts with its playful tone and adorable main character.
One of the most talked-about titles on the list is Planet of Lana, a game that surprised many gamers with its stunning visuals, touching narrative, and cinematic presentation. It’s not a headliner but it definitely became a sleeper hit for Game Pass users.
Here is the list of the eight games set to depart Xbox Game Pass on May 15, 2024.

These games will leave Game Pass in the middle of the month, so now is a good time to try them if you haven’t already. If you don’t think you’ll have time to finish them, these games are 20% off until they leave the service.
