Turn 10 Studios has hit the brakes and dropped a massive announcement in their “2025 Year in Review,” confirming that all new content development for Forza Motorsport is ending immediately.
Despite only launching in October 2023, Turn 10 will not release any “new tracks, features, or regular patches” for Forza Motorsport. Instead, the studio is focusing on the upcoming Forza Horizon 6.
Turn 10’s announcement comes towards the end of a long message to fans, celebrating 2025 and the success of the Forza franchise.

This decision, effective immediately, places the track racer into a permanent “maintenance mode.” The developers are officially ceasing the regular cycle of updates that typically introduces fresh gameplay elements and vehicles.
For fans who have been waiting for new tracks and features, this is a definitive end to post-launch expansion plans. The game is now considered content-complete, with the team shifting its focus to Forza Horizon 6.

While new content is dead, Turn isn’t completely abandoning the game. Support will continue for essential online services, ensuring competitive multiplayer remains active.

The explicit reason for this abrupt pivot is the team’s reallocation of resources. Turn 10 Studios is focusing its full power on the development of the next open-world title, Forza Horizon 6 (FH6), which is currently slated for a 2026 release.
