So, we got a new gameplay showcase for the highly anticipated PRAGMATA, and Trailer 4 for the upcoming Onimusha: Way of the Sword, both hitting in 2026. But wait, there’s more! New details on Resident Evil Requiem were also revealed, with a Demo at TGS.

And hey, we got the announcement of a new MegaMan Collection to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Star Force series with a whopping 7 titles! Plus, exciting Monster Hunter news, including a FF XIV collab for Wilds and the Release Date for Stories 3, launching on 13 March 2026.

 

Surprises from the State of Play September 2025

PlayStation’s special State of Play definitely dropped some jaws! We got an unexpected star with the announcement of Saros, the new third-person action adventure from the Housemarque team. But also, the much-awaited gameplay trailer and behind the scenes (claws) for Marvel’s Wolverine.

The news kept coming with the Spec III Update for GT7, celebrating the series hitting a huge 100 Million copies worldwide! Meanwhile, we got the Release Dates for Code Vein II on 30 January 2026, and Nioh 3 on 06 February 2026. And let’s not forget the surprise announcement of the Remaster of the original Deus Ex by Aspyr.

 

Announcements from the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast

Xbox’s massive broadcast brought us tons of awesome new stuff! The teaser at the end of the event totally stole the show – the announcement of Forza Horizon 6, coming in 2026. But also, a detailed video on the combat and difficulty of Ninja Gaiden 4. Plus, Update 20 for MFS, which introduces new locations in Japan.

Among the third-party news, we saw a special trailer for Animo, the cool monster collector from Kingsglory Games. And the Release Date for the anime-style life sim, Starsand Island, set for 01 February 2026. Added to that are new details on Fatal Frame 2 Remake from the director.
