Steam Game Awards 2025 winners revealed with Hollow Knight Silksong dominating with 2 awards including Game of the Year.

The Steam Game Awards 2025 are officially in, closing out the year as the last major awards event for PC gaming. Decided by the Steam community, the awards spotlight the PC games that stood out most in 2025. From breakout hits to highly anticipated releases, this year’s winners showcase what PC players valued most.

Steam Game Awards 2025 Winners

The Steam Game Awards 2025 winners are now official, bringing the curtain down on the final major awards event of the year for PC gaming. With just 11 categories, Hollow Knight: Silksong dominated, winning Game of the Year and Best Game You Suck At Awards, making it the most decorated game of the event.

Apart from GOTY, the most watched-out-for award is the Labor of Love, which unlike the others, is not limited to games released this year. Instead, it honors titles that have continued to grow and improve long after launch through consistent developer support. The finalists included Helldivers 2, No Man’s Sky, Rust, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Dota 2 which are all proven mainstays of PC gaming. Baldur’s Gate 3 ultimately claimed the award.

Expedition 33 also left its mark on the Steam Game Awards. After earning multiple wins at other major ceremonies including The Game Awards 2025, the title added another accolade to its run by winning Best Soundtrack.
