Pocketpair is on a roll! Its breakout indie hit Palworld has broken records, captured players worldwide, and even sparked a high-profile Nintendo lawsuit that’s making waves in game development and modding. Recently, the team announced that Palworld will soon exit early access and shared a glimpse of their future plans. Today, one of those plans has been fully revealed: Palworld Palfarm.
Pocketpair Is Working On Palworld Spinoff ‘Palfarm’
During a studio update last week, Communications Director Bucky mentioned that Pocketpair was collaborating with different teams on new projects. While no titles were disclosed at the time, today the studio officially announced Palworld Palfarm.
It’s a spinoff of the original game so you’ll see many of the pals you’re familiar with. But instead of guns blazing action, Palfarm (as the name suggests) takes the pals into a cosy life sim, focused on farming and crafting. But don’t worry, within Palpagos Islands is a black market offering an item which cannot be missing from a Paworld reality: guns.

While guns will be in play, it’s more for protecting your farm. There will be minimal “combat”, basically only when other pals try to raid your land.
The game will mostly be planting and watering crops, then eventually harvesting them. And since it’s a life sim too, there will be social interactions like daily conversations, gift-giving, and even dating. And yes, the game will support multiplayer so that should be really fun.
Palfarm offers a fresh twist on the “Pokémon with guns” formula, trading high-octane battles for a slower-paced but equally addictive farming and social experience. No release date has been announced yet, but the Steam page for Palworld Palfarm is already live, so fans can add it to their wishlists now.
