New World Aeternum Immediately Delisted and Will Shutdown in January 2027

New World Aeternum officially goes offline on January 31, 2027. It is immediately delisted with in-game purchase to cease on July 20th.

 

Amazon is finally pulling the pin on New World Aeternum as it announces the game’s immediate delisting and shutdown date. The game previously confirmed that its Season 10 and Nighthaven update was the last, so it wasn’t at all a surprise to hear its end.

 

New World Aeternum Delisted and Goes Offline in January 2027

New World Aeternum is in the last phase of its shutdown. October last year, Amazon announced that there will be no more content updates past Season 10. Although there was no mention of servers going offline then, it was pretty obvious that it was coming to that. They shared that the game will remain available for 2026 so of course, many expected a shutdown by 2027.

True enough, Amazon has now confirmed that the game will officially go offline on January 31, 2027. After this date, the game will no longer be available on all platforms.

   

The game has also been effectively delisted on all platforms at the time of announcement, January 15, 2026. However, in-game purchases for existing owners will remain available until July 20, 2026. Note though that if you choose to purchase Marks of Fortune or any in-game content including currency, no refund will be given.

The shutdown is still over a year from now so players no need to hurry to pack things up. The game will still receive support and bug fixes. Plus, world bosses and bonus weeks will remain until the shutdown date.
