Konami has announced a new Silent Hill Transmission set to air on February 12. The broadcast will focus on the future of the franchise and provide updates on upcoming projects, continuing the series’ renewed momentum following its recent releases.

 

The First Silent Hill Transmission for 2026

The Silent Hill franchise has experienced a major resurgence in the past couple of years with the successful back-to-back releases of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill f. Both titles helped reestablish the franchise’s presence in the modern horror space and showed that Silent Hill is once again a priority for the publisher.

Now, Konami is carrying that momentum into 2026 with its first Silent Hill Transmission of the year. The showcase is scheduled for 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM GMT on February 12, landing just one hour after PlayStation’s State of Play wraps up. For fans keeping track, that makes February 12 a packed day for announcements, with two major broadcasts scheduled.

While the event itself is reason enough for excitement, things get even more interesting when you look at what’s expected to appear. According to Konami’s announcement, the Transmission will highlight Silent Hill Townfall, which is widely rumored to be the next Silent Hill release.

Although there’s no official release date yet, a retail listing that surfaced late last year pointed to a March 26, 2026 launch date. It could very well have been placeholder text but considering the game has reportedly been in development for quite some time, that date isn’t entirely out of the question.

   

Beyond Townfall, the broadcast is also set to include the “latest updates from the SILENT HILL series,” suggesting we may see more than just one project. With Konami’s renewed commitment to expanding the franchise, additional reveals wouldn’t be surprising.

Silent Hill producer Motoi Okamoto has previously expressed his intention to release new Silent Hill titles on a yearly basis. If rumors (or hopeful wishes) prove true, we could see Townfall launch this year, followed by the most-asked-for first Silent Hill game remake.

Again, mark your calendars for February 12. It’s going to be a wild ride.
