InZoi: The Sims Rival with Cars, Karma, & Mind-Blowing Character Creator

InZoi is a new life simulator, similar to the Sims games. The publisher of this new simulator is the South Korean studio Krafton, which is also behind the popular battle royale shooter PUBG. A few days ago, Krafton introduced some features of the game in a 13.5-minute video. Find out all about it here.

What is InZoi?

InZoi is a life simulator, similar to the Sims games. But it’s actually quite different and differs in many ways. Let’s start with the obvious. The art style is completely different. It’s not the familiar standard Sims style we all know, but rather a more realistic art style. The game is ultimately set in Korea, so most of the characters in the game are Asian, but of course, there are also other nationalities in the game.

A few days ago, Krafton presented some of the features that will be in the game in a video. But first, let’s talk about how the decisions were made about which features would make it into the game. And this was something special about this game. The developers worked very closely with the community and implemented features into the game that were most mentioned in the InZoi Community Discord. This allowed fans to have a say long before release, and thus a game was created that everyone is happy with.

The first feature introduced is the ability to drive a car. This was one of the most requested features on Discord. With a car, it’s possible to quickly get from one place to another. You can even drive the car yourself in the game. With the car, you can take more people with you or even go on a road trip. If you have a special car, people on the street will even take pictures of it. But remember, you’re playing a simulator here, so unlike GTA, you have to follow the rules. However, you might still get into an accident and even die.

That’s why another feature is the time machine, which allows you to bring dead Zois back. Ultimately, it’s the ability to load old checkpoints that were automatically saved in the game and return to a point where your Zoi is still alive.

Another feature is group activities. For example, after a long day at work, you can take a walk with your wife or visit a karaoke bar with some friends or much more.

In total, there are three different ways to verbally communicate with people, depending on how well you know a person. Inviting strangers on a date is obviously much harder than people you’ve been friends with for a long time. But if you don’t want to wait that long, it’s not a problem in InZoi. You can simply increase the relationship success rate in the settings. If you commit something serious like theft in relationships, your reputation will decrease. After that, it’s quite possible that your relationship will break because of that act.

Especially noteworthy is the character creation. Here, you can freely customize your Zoi and have many different tools available for it. You can create not only Asian characters but also European ones, so the only limit is your own creativity.

Then there’s the City Edit mode. In this mode, you can influence the weather and much more in the city. It’s even possible to play YouTube videos on many digital billboards in the city. But you can also make adjustments regarding the animals and much more.

The developers also want to make creating mods easy. They want to provide free tools so that many mods can be created for the game. Through mods, you can completely recreate a game, especially in such games you can create the most diverse scenarios. The mods can even be downloaded directly in the game, and the best mods can even be rewarded monthly.

At night, your Zoi will dream, and your dreams even mean something. They influence how your next day will be. A nightmare will probably result in something bad happening rather than after a happy dream. With tarot card readings, you can even find out what your dream stands for and maybe even win the lottery. Sleepwalking is also possible. This can result in your Zoi making a generous donation or something else. However, you can withdraw these the next day if you’re short on cash.

There will also be a movie set where you can shoot your own movies in the game with up to three different settings.

Due to the game’s great rendering potential, accessories and much more look very good on your character. So it’s worth going to the shops to put together a nice outfit.

More is yet to come in the future. Possible additions include various stories, motorcycles, additional jobs, and much more. So stay tuned.

When Will InZoi Be Released?
