As I said, even though the Rick and Morty creator isn’t involved in running Squanch Games, he left his DNA behind, and it clearly still permeates the game development over there. And that’s something you either love or hate. I like it, and I like High on Life 2.
Despite my worries, High on Life 2 exceeded my expectations for the sequel to one of the weirdest, most enjoyable first-person shooters I have played. With an entertaining story, engaging fast-paced combat, and a gorgeous world, this becomes a uniquely creative experience worth playing through.
High on Life 2 accomplishes an incredibly rare feat, as it’s a sequel that improves every single aspect of the original while forging its own unique path. The addition of the skateboard is a game changer, and the majestic insanity that you can concoct is just oodles of fun.

The humor in the first game didn't really resonate with me, came off as more annoying than anything so I'm not very interested in this one. Combat does seem fun with multiple guns and skills that, if used right, can lead to some really over the top moments. Expect a variety of missions across the galaxy in very different locations that, besides the main quest, will also contain side objectives.
I still need to play the first game, I am not a huge fan of Rick and Morty but it is a bit funny sometimes so I am open to playing this one in the future too.

I'm not a great fan of fps, but I think that the first one was pretty original and had its own charm, sometimes the jokes fell flat but overall it was a funny game that didn't last to much. I'm curious to try this new one, but I think I'll wait a bit for prices to drop. Discord: txcastle
