High on Life 2 preload is now live for Xbox Series X|S users, revealing the game’s download size ahead of its February 13 release.

The countdown to High on Life 2 is officially on, with preloads now rolling out ahead of the game’s February 13th release. The much-awaited sequel is set to launch for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Playstation 5. It is also a confirmed day-one launch for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC tiers.

 

High on Life 2 Preload Available, File Size Revealed

With a few days left before High on Life 2 officially make its debut, pre-loading has now started on Xbox Series X|S. Its download size clocked in at 60.63 GB which is really not bad considering games these days. That’s also a lot less than the approximate size published on the Xbox Store which was 80GB.

While Xbox users can now feel an inch closer to launch, PC and Playstation users have to wait a bit longer for preload to begin which is estimated to be around the 11th. And because preload isn’t live yet, the download size for both platforms have not been revealed yet.But it shouldn’t be that far off from the Xbox’s.

High on Life 2 will officially launch on February 13, 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Playstation 5. It is also part of the Xbox Game Pass February lineup and will be available day-one for Ultimate and PC members.

While you don’t necessarily need to play the first game, High on Life 2 is a direct sequel so it’ll be more enjoyable to experience the first one again or even for the first time, before the second game launches. Luckily for Game Pass members, High on Life is still in the library for all main tiers of the service.

As for Playstation Plus users, it’s no longer featured on any of the tiers but it is currently 65% off. The offer ends on February 26th.

   

High on Life 2 is a comedic first-person shooter from Squanch Games that picks up five years after the original, following the now-established bounty hunter as they’re pulled into a sprawling intergalactic conspiracy involving Rhea Pharmaceuticals and a scheme that threatens to turn humanity into prescription drugs.

Blending fast, personality-driven gunplay with the series’ signature talking alien weapons and comedian-filled cast, the sequel expands its scope with a hub-based, Metroidvania-style structure that encourages exploration and backtracking across vibrant alien worlds. New traversal options including a skateboard that can be used both for movement and combat, add speed and flexibility as you team up with an oddball alien crew to protect your sister, confront old wounds, and dismantle a corrupt pharma giant, without losing the irreverent humor that defines the series.
