Elden Ring is the best Souls made by From Software, in my opinion. In the open world at least. The game offers enormous challenge, titanic content, original bosses, tons of side quests and nooks and crannies to explore that we sometimes wish we hadn’t… The RPG aspect is excellent: parrying is encouraged, with shields, but not compulsory, and there are many possible play styles, some more obvious (invocations), others more demanding. But in any case, there’s plenty of choice.
Elden Ring is an absolute masterpiece that has left me in awe. FromSoftware and George R.R. Martin have crafted a dark fantasy world that is breathtaking in its scale and beauty. The game’s lore is rich and captivating, drawing me deeper into its intricate narrative with each step. The combat mechanics are a perfect blend of challenging and rewarding, demanding precision and strategy from the player. The variety of weapons and abilities allows for a personalized playstyle, making every encounter feel unique. The open-world design is a refreshing departure from FromSoftware’s previous titles, offering vast landscapes to explore and secrets to uncover. The boss battles, as expected, are nothing short of epic, testing both my skills and determination. Elden Ring is a shining example of what happens when two creative powerhouses come together to create something truly special. It’s a must-play for any fan of the Soulsborne genre and a new standard for excellence in game design.
For a gamer that loves Souls game, the Elden Ring is the true must have of the year. It has been awarded with so many prizes and it appear like one of the game that will be remembered for many years to come. Setting, music, lighting, charcters: all feels really well designed. It is also worldwide recognised as on of the thoughest game to complete so be ready to undertake its challenge!
I’ve been enjoying Elden Ring for the past few weeks. Hard, sure, but nothing impossibile (expecially with magic!) Loving it so far.
One of the most awarded games of this year and for good reason. The scenery, the ambient, the gameplay, the art… Everything comes together for a truly immersing experience. My only concern about this game is that sometimes the boss battles can turn to be relatively difficult but not for the skill of the game, but for external reasons. For example, bosses that have so much HP that you’d take 20 minutes straight of hitting constantly with a weapon if you are not geared up. But keeping that aside, it is just amazing, a must-have
