Xbox Games Showcase Announced by Microsoft for June 9
The Xbox Games Showcase will happen in June. Keep reading to find out what to expect to see at this year’s biggest gaming event.
When is Xbox Games Showcase?
Microsoft has announced the Xbox Games Showcase, with the event taking place the same week as Summer Game Fest on June 9. The event will be immediately followed by Redacted Direct, which could be Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War.
Announcing the events on X, Xbox revealed the Xbox Games Showcase will begin at 10am PT and that they’re going to be “talking about games.” Xbox and Microsoft have not revealed what games will be shown during the showcases, but we can expect game trailers, DLC announcements, and a few Xbox Game Pass announcements.
One game we could see is Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War, with industry insider and leaker CharlieIntel revealing on X that the Redacted Direct logo of a three-headed wolf points to CoD 2024’s internal code name of “Cerberus.”
Right now, though, we can’t be certain for sure and you’ll just have to watch the events on June 9. Which you can do so on the official Xbox Twitch and YouTube Channels. Make sure to keep an eye on Alkeyshop for when more details on the events are revealed closer to the date.
