The revolution takes new forms as Watch Dogs: Legion Online Mode goes live for players on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Let’s have a look at the special features that the online mode brings.
Watch Dogs: Legion Online is a standalone mode. This means that everything is turned back to the beginning where you will start a new branch of DedSec in another part of London. To do this you’ll have to sign up new recruits using influence points. These influence points work like tech points, where you can also use them to upgrade weapons and items.
To advance in rank, you have to complete daily or weekly challenges and solo missions. A higher rank means more influence points, which in turn means more upgrades and skills for your DedSec branch.
Watch Dogs: Legion Online’s co-op mode lets up to four hackers go on missions together, join forces and destroy vehicles, neutralize targets, and coordinate hacks. This is how you level up your common faction.
Things get particularly hairy in Tactical Ops. Ubisoft recommends that you start with a full hacking force of four people to master these five-part missions, which are all about communication, coordination and teamwork. If you fail and a team member dies, you have to start the current part of the mission from the beginning. How convenient that the online mode is equipped with an integrated voice chat.

Unfortunately, not all hackers can access the online mode yet as the PC version has been postponed indefinitely due to technical problems.
