Kirby Air Riders is set to launch soon, but not before one more Nintendo Direct. The game’s team has officially announced a new, hour-long showcase taking place tomorrow. Aside from confirmation that it will be presented by game director Masahiro Sakurai and some basic event details, little is known about what surprises might be revealed.

 

Kirby Air Riders Gets a Second Nintendo Direct

Kirby is going on the spotlight again as a second Nintendo Direct has been confirmed for the upcoming game Kirby Air Riders. Tune on Nintendo’s official Youtube or Twitch channel tomorrow, October 23rd at 6AM PDT / 9am EDT / 2PM BST.

The stream will be hosted again by game director Masahiro Sakurai and will last for 60 minutes. That’s longer than the first Direct last August which was 45 minutes long.

   

Many are intrigued, to say the least, as to what can possibly be revealed during the stream. And for that long. The last one confirmed the release date, the playable characters, the second button, and some live gameplay by Sakurai. For most, even that was too long.

Fans are speculating there could be more character reveal, maybe a story mode, or even a roadmap already confirming post-launch DLCs/seasons. Whatever it is, it’s not long before we find out.

Kirby Air Riders will officially launch on November 20, 2025 for Nintendo Switch 2. It’s an exclusive for this particular console only.
