RV There Yet? Out on Game Pass Today with News on Final Map and Crossplay

Co-op hit RV There Yet? is officially available on Xbox Game Pass today with fresh details on crossplay and the upcoming final map.

After months of delays and plenty of anticipation, RV There Yet? has officially arrived on Xbox Game Pass today. The co-op road trip adventure has been one of the most requested indie games to make the jump from PC to consoles, and Xbox players can finally see what all the excitement has been about. Alongside today’s launch, the developers have also shared fresh details about the game’s final map, future content, and the long-requested crossplay feature.

RV There Yet? Launches on Consoles and Joins Xbox Game Pass

Nuggets Entertainment’s co-op adventure RV There Yet? has taken the PC community by storm since launching in October 2025. The game quickly earned thousands of stellar reviews, with players praising its chaotic co-op gameplay and replayability. As its player base continued to grow, so did requests for additional maps, new features, and console versions.

When Nuggets Entertainment announced that RV There Yet? would be coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass, excitement grew more. It was originally scheduled to launch last month but the studio decided to delay the release to allow for additional polishing. The new target was moved to early June but that window also came and went.

Fortunately, the team eventually locked in June 30, 2026, as the official release date. While plenty were hopeful, there was still some skepticism. Game delays are quite common in the industry so many fans wanted to see the game actually go live before celebrating.

That confidence got a major boost just a few days ago thanks to an unexpected Xbox Cloud Gaming glitch. For several hours, RV There Yet? became playable through the service ahead of its intended launch. Although Microsoft eventually removed access, the accidental early release confirmed that the Xbox version was fully playable and gave fans reassurance that today’s launch would finally happen.

As for other platforms, Nuggets Entertainment has also confirmed that RV There Yet? is coming to PlayStation 5 with a release currently planned for sometime after summer. That announcement naturally led to more questions or requests about crossplay, one of the community’s most requested features since the console versions were announced.

Unfortunately, crossplay isn’t available for today’s launch. It is still part of their long-term plans though, with the goal of having it work “between everything eventually.” So it’s probably safe to assume that this will be after the PS5 launch.

There is more bittersweet news regarding future content updates. The developers confirmed that a new map is currently in production which will arrive alongside new gameplay features. However, this will be the final map for the game as the studio intends to shift its focus towards creating new games.

But for now, Xbox players finally have the chance to hit the road through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC. This addition also marks the closing title for June 2026’s lineup.
