Find out about the Ready or Not console launch announcement
Ready or Not (RoN) is the realistic tactical first-person shooter from the VOID Interactive team. An Irish development team founded in 2016 that debuted with RoN in 2021. A debut in Early Access on Steam as the spiritual successor to the famous SWAT series by Sierra Entertainment.
Followed by the official launch on 13 December 2023, and the awaited debut on console on 15 July 2025. A debut that was certainly criticized for the choice to censor the game’s content even on PC for the console launch. But it saw the game reach over 1 Million copies on Console in less than 7 days. Ready or Not: An Incredible New Player Milestone
Just a little over a month and a half since the launch of Ready or Not on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the VOID team brings fantastic new updates. Confirming on 8 September 2025 the new milestones reached by their SWAT-style tactical shooter. With over 3 Million copies sold on Console.
Also announcing a community of 13 Million players across all platforms. Basically confirming about 10 Million users on PC alone. A fantastic success that comes almost 2 months after the game was review-bombed due to the removal/censorship of some content on PC because of the console version.

Despite some controversy and technical problems I've encountered, Ready or Not still remains one of my favourite FPS. In solo, it makes you think for the whole team, giving orders to NPC. In coop, it pushes you to communicate and watch each others back. Wonderful experience, but very challenging at the same time.
