Sony has officially revealed the free monthly games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in July 2026 putting together a pretty good lineup for members to claim. Over the next few weeks, members can add Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For The King II, and CrossCode to their libraries starting from July 7 until August 3.

The highlight of the month is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, a high-stakes continuation of the Modern Warfare storyline where Task Force 141 faces off against Vladimir Makarov while also delivering a massive package of classic and new multiplayer maps. It also expands the experience with an open-world Zombies mode.

For the King 2 brings a slower, more strategic pace with its turn-based roguelite gameplay set in the world of Fahrul where every run plays out differently thanks to procedurally generated maps and dice-roll inspired mechanics. Players can go solo or team up in co-op as they take on tactical battles, long campaign runs, and the replayable Dark Carnival dungeon mode. It also quite recently received a free Dungeon Crawl update so its addition to PS Plus is very timely.

CrossCode rounds out the lineup with a retro-style action RPG that mixes fast combat, dungeon puzzles, and deep exploration across a large sci-fi world. With its SNES-inspired visuals, precise combat system, and long list of quests and bosses, it offers a more classic single-player experience focused on progression and skill-based gameplay.
