A new adventure is waiting for Xbox Game Pass members today as Final Fantasy IV officially joins the library and no one is being left out as Ultimate, PC, and Premium tiers all get access starting today. Fans of the iconic RPG series can jump into the classic story and experience its world on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and cloud.
Final Fantasy IV Joins on Xbox Game Pass
Like clockwork, another Final Fantasy game has entered Xbox Game Pass, following the first three dropping every month since January. Final Fantasy IV officially joins the service today, April 7, for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC, and Premium.
The arrival, although it was expected, was formally revealed during March’s wave 2 lineup announcement. That same update also included Barbie Horse Trails for all tiers and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for Premium.
Being that this is the final currently revealed game and that it is the first Tuesday of the month, the official announcement for the April 2026 lineup should come out within the day. It is exciting to see how many more and which games will make the cut.
Currently, there are three more games scheduled after today, which includes Tiny Bookshop, Hades 2, and REPLACED. Yes, three day-one launches.
But back to Final Fantasy IV, while there is no official confirmation, at this point, it is safe to say that the whole remaster collection will enter the service. So if this is correct, we can expect Final Fantasy V to release next month, and Final Fantasy VI to release in June.
