The Nintendo Switch version of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse gets a confirmed October 15, 2026 release date alongside other platforms.

Castlevania Belmont’s Curse is officially coming to Nintendo Switch on October 15, 2026. Although the Switch version has been part of the lineup since the game’s reveal earlier this year, its release date had remained unknown until now. With that uncertainty finally cleared up, Switch owners can look forward to playing alongside everyone else on launch day.

Release Date of Castlevania Belmont’s Curse Switch Version Confirmed

Evil Empire has announced that Castlevania Belmont’s Curse will launch on Nintendo Switch on October 15, 2026. While this version was already revealed alongside the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC editions during the PlayStation State of Play in February, its launch status became uncertain when it was not featured in the release date trailer that dropped last month.

That however has now been cleared as the dev team’s latest announcement confirms that Castlevania Belmont’s Curse will arrive on Nintendo Switch on the same day as the other versions.

Alongside the announcement, physical preorders for the Nintendo Switch edition have also gone live starting today. Digital preorders have yet to open, though the developers have confirmed that more details on this will be shared at a later date.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse takes the series to medieval Paris in 1499, where Trevor Belmont and his daughter, Rose, battle through a city overrun by monsters after a mysterious castle appears. Rose takes center stage as she fights with the legendary Vampire Killer whip, using fluid whip mechanics for both combat and traversal while uncovering a darker conspiracy behind the invasion.

As players progress, defeated bosses become Arcana cards that grant powerful spells and abilities, adding more flexibility to combat alongside a wide range of weapons and relics that let players tailor their playstyle. Blending classic Gothic Castlevania themes with newly designed locations, the game offers a familiar yet fresh adventure filled with exploration, challenging boss fights, and rewarding action.
