After surpassing the milestone of one million copies sold, Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater continues to reward its fans. Initially planned to release alongside the game itself, the tactical multiplayer mode “Fox Hunt” faced a brief delay. However, during the Tokyo Game Show 2025, Konami confirmed an October 30 deadline — and true to their word, they’ve delivered.

Fox Hunt: Two Game Modes, Twelve Players, One Survivor
Now available via a simple update across all supported platforms, Fox Hunt introduces two distinct modes for up to 12 players. The first, “Survival Capture,” blends strategy with chaos. Players must hunt down and capture as many hidden Kerotan frogs as possible across the map. But as the match progresses, the number of frogs decreases, forcing players into direct confrontation. Only the most cunning will emerge victorious — or as Konami puts it, “master of the frogs.”
The second mode, “Survival Intrude,” turns the experience into a high-stakes stealth operation. Each Agent must rely on their AT-CAMO suit and survival instincts to defend ever-shrinking zones. Much like Fortnite’s battle royale model, the playable area tightens over time, demanding precision, patience, and tactical thinking. Ultimately, only one player can remain — the perfect soldier.
