Hades 2 is the highly anticipated action RPG for 2020’s award-winning roguelike. Hades is set for release later this year, and developer Supergiant Games has just announced a public playtest for the roguelike.
The Hades 2 technical test will be the first chance to play the game before it releases into Early Access on Steam and Epic. Supergiant announced the test on X, stating, “We’re getting close to launching HADES II in Early Access! A key step prior to that is our Hades II Technical Test, which we plan to begin shortly.”

To join the technical test, all you need to do is head to the video game’s Steam page and click “Request Access” below the button to add it to your wishlist.
Supergiant has yet to say when Hades 2 will hit Early Access, but if the technical test doesn’t reveal any immediate issues, it should be sometime in Q2 2024.
