Codemasters has revealed the driver ratings in F1 2022 and explained how they will work in this year’s official Formula 1 video game.

F1 2022 DRIVER RATINGS

F1 2022 is Codemasters’ most ambitious Formula One game yet, and they’ve worked hard to ensure driver ratings reflect season performances.

Codemasters has confirmed that F1 2022 will use four categories to ensure accurate ratings.

F1 2022 Driver Ratings Categories:

• Experience (EXP): Based on the number of race starts a driver has over their career.
• Racecraft (RAC): A driver’s ability to work their way through the pack and finish in a higher position.
• Awareness (AWA): Real-world punishments will impact the driver’s Awareness score.
• Pace (PAC): Fastest qualifying and race lap times, and a driver’s ability to finish ahead of their teammate.

All four categories and the driver’s overall performance throughout the season will impact the driver’s Rating (RTG).

F1 2022 looks like the best F1 game yet, and you can jump into the cockpit when it releases on June 28 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
