Dying Light 3 Already In Development?

Dying Light 2 Stay Human lead game designer Tymon Smektala says he wants players to have better abilities and skills in Dying Light 3.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is only just out, but developer Techland is already looking to the future.

In a recent interview with VGC, Dying Light 2 lead game designer Tymon Smektala said that he has had a chance to reflect on certain game design decisions since the game’s release.

Smektala told VGC that in Dying Light 2, much like the first game, players begin “quite weak” before growing stronger as the game progresses.

Looking back at the game since its release, Smektala says he would like to see the character “start with more powers, more skills, more abilities as his basic skill set.”

Smektala may already be looking at ways to improve Dying Light 3, but so far, there is no word on whether there will be a Dying Light 3.

And it doesn’t mean content stops for Dying Light 2, with the game’s first DLC set to release in September.
