Lou Magmell also joins the roster as a new partner. Bandai Namco clarified that this iteration of Lou is a different individual from the main campaign, having entered The Forsaken World after experiencing a distinct tragedy.

To access the Mask of Idris DLC, players must first reach the “Luna Fraterna” ending in the main Code Vein II campaign. Additionally, players need to complete the specific sub-mission titled “Valentin’s Request.” The expansion operates entirely as post-game content and remains locked until users satisfy these two exact conditions.

The official Steam announcement reiterates that the DLC narrative remains separate from the primary campaign. The development team designed the expansion specifically to challenge endgame characters.
