We. The Revolution is a historical political sim developed by Polyslash. Step into the shoes of a judge of the Revolutionary Tribunal, presiding over complicated cases involving ordinary citizens, criminals, and, worst of all, enemies of the revolution. The power over human life and death is a heavy burden. Keep that in mind each time you pass sentence in the courtroom, assign tasks to your agents, give speeches, and weave political intrigue behind the scenes.

The game has a lot of strategies under your control as you need to decide what kind of “man” you want to be. The game will appeal to history buffs but will also placate adventure game enthusiasts. The Revolution, your “favourite book” as being judge, jury, executioner, and even detective, never felt so fulfilling!

For me, We. The Revolution redefined what a history game could be. The story was rich with depth and empathy for the people who lived during the Reign of Terror, and the developer’s passion could easily be felt – so much so, in fact, that I was moved to play France’s national anthem numerous times in honor of this terrible period brought to life in such a wonderful way.
