Prison Architect 2 already offers an obvious improvement by moving from 2D to 3D. We're promised prisoners with more personalized characteristics, desires, needs and interpersonal relationships. More advanced management of the prison, our staff and its policies (high security, death penalty, cell comfort, density...). In short, everything that was the strength of the first game should be even better in this 2nd opus.
While the first opus remains quite popular, Prison Architect 2 is going to push the limits. Featuring 3D visuals, the game will be more detailed with better building mechanics. If you liked the original title, this one will surprise you with more polished gameplay and an easier interface, however, it might be more challenging, too. There are more things to control, and when you don't do it right, well... the consequences will be harsh!
