Mistfall Hunter is a perfect blend of an extraction shooter game with a dark fantasy style. It is a refreshing game that isn't gun-based with deep melee combat mechanics which are really engaging! Although at times it feels clunky or needs a little more polishing, I really like this game and it's worth giving it a try! Xbox Game Pass subscribers must be really happy since it's available from day one! And for those who don't have it, it can already be found with a good discount here on AKS!
Visually Mistfall Hunter looks incredible, it is a 3rd p. souls like game and it has all the dark fantasy environments and classes that I like. You don’t fight alone, it is an extraction game, so you have to assemble a small team of players and fight enemies and other humans alike to get the loot and extract. These games are great for the tension, like Arc Raiders, and also great for the exploration and sense of constant danger. Since I prefer fantasy I‘m gonna enjoy this a lot more than AR
The universe of Mistfall Hunter looks fascinating, and this style blends perfectly with souls-like setting. And while reviews on Steam are rather mixed, the few flaws that the game has can be fixed with a couple of patches. Fans of RPG should absolutely give it a shot!
