Insurgency Sandstorm is a team-based, tactical FPS based on the concept of close quarters combat and objective-oriented multiplayer action. The sequel to New World Interactive’s 2014 hit Insurgency, Experience the intensity of modern combat where skill is rewarded, and teamwork wins the fight. • Move with great speed and caution as you push through a war-torn environment of a fictional modern conflict in the Middle East. Be careful in these parts’ death comes fast, ammunition must be managed, and the environment can be fickle.
• Customize your character to show your Veterancy with a diverse set of cosmetics, like clothing, uniforms, accessories, and character voices. Coordinate with your team, engage enemies with vehicle-mounted guns, and go head-to-head in small-scale high-speed PvP and co-op matches.

Insurgency Sandstorm Reviews

Insurgency: Sandstorm is a unique Xbox shooter, and an absolute blast to play when you really get to grips with its core mechanics. While the shooting on offer here perhaps most resembles something like Rainbow Six: Siege or PUBG on console, Sandstorm carves out its own niche by offering authentic gunplay across a wide array of game modes, including plenty of co-op action for those who prefer some PvE gameplay. Its unforgiving shooting mechanics won't be for everyone, but Insurgency: Sandstorm rewards those who really learn how to play it, resulting in one of the most satisfying first-person shooters on Xbox today.

It could be a little neater in terms of visuals, and there are a few sound hiccups, but when something is this good, it’s easy to let that, and the lack of story mode or numerous game modes, slide.
