Hades is a roguelike that combines the art of dynamic and enjoyable combat, a slightly random aspect that allows you to vary your runs, a well-balanced progression curve, a divine universe that I personally adore, with a multitude of details in the lore. But there's also an unexpected dose of humour, I'd say, which makes the dialogue less solemn in general and a lot of fun to follow. Excellent gameplay, phenomenal longevity... you can't miss it!
This roguelite dungeon-crawler is a perfect game to play on the go and performs pretty well on the Switch. Hades has an isometric camera, hack and slash combat and gorgeous hand-painted visuals. The gameplay is balanced, with different weapons to experiment and master, enemies can be tough but as long as you play around their strenghts, fights are fair. Overall, Hades is a great title with lots of content and plenty of options so it doesn't become repetitive quickly.
