Never followed the Fairy Tail saga previously so my interest in this game is close to null. It does look good though, the artstyle is nice and there are plenty of characters. Fairy Tail 2 features hack and slash combat where you can venture out with a big party but can only control one of the characters at a time. If you're a fan and want to relive part of the story within a game, maybe this is for you.
