Having only played Dragon Age: Origins before, it's going to take me a while before I even consider grabbing this one. Not very impressed from the few things I've seen, gameplay looks fun but I disliked the writing/characters and the artstyle. I'll probably buy it at a massive discount eventually after I'm done with the previous games of the franchise.

More than 20 hours in, I can say the game is awesome. Love the new approach to combat, the plot is enganging and some of the companions are amazing. Maps to explore are huge despite not being "open world" and everything feels much alive and fast than before.
I love the graphics and the fact that we got a Dragon Age game after ages. but the mechanics and writing are mid.
I love Dragon Age! It's lore and gameplay are top notch! That's why this one is a HARD PASS.... Just buy the previous trilogy. This one even made me kinda like Dragon Age 2, lol. Discord: bastardwolf
