Conscript is a game that pays tribute to the Battle of Verdun in 1916 and puts you in the shoes of a young Frenchman in search of his missing brother. This action-RPG has an emotional storyline, but it's also challenging, with an interesting survival aspect, including arsenal and equipment management. The gameplay is not to be underestimated, and you can count on a horrific atmosphere that is well done and authentic, as well as the historical context, which is fully respected.
When I first heard about Conscript, I was surprised that it's not 11 bit studious work, as the game is so much in their style. Harsh reality of war, a small light of hope and the difficult choices - this is what this survival game is about. Every our decision will have consequences, the question is: what our survival will cost?
