Climber Sky is the limit offers a first-person mountaineering experience. You take on the role of a valiant climber, with a significant simulation aspect. You have to plan your route and the equipment you want to take with you. You have to use the right tools at the right time, deal with rockslides, blizzards and unforeseen events, and plan to set up camp early enough to regain your strength for the next day.
I think that overall the idea behind Climber Sky is the Limit is interesting, and it looks quite good, too. Unfortunately, the game has major flaws, such as lack of realism and freedom. It is also lacking in content, as there are only 6 mountains to climb and not much replayability. Anyway, there are not many games of this genre, so it’s worth trying if you like such scenery.
