The story was incoherent for the most part, only making a bit more sense later on, but the ride was action-packed to the very end. It is obvious that Infinity Ward is at the top of their game and I can only imagine what’s coming next. Until then, this is definitely a must-buy, despite the surprising $60 dollar price tag for a PC title. Grab your gear; you’re in for one helluva ride.

The campaign can be completed in as little as four and a half hours, and the missions make better scenarios and moment-to-moment adrenaline rushes than they do a cohesive, well-told story. If you’re going solo, you’ve officially been warned. Look at the complete Modern Warfare 2 experience though, and there’s no denying its rightful place at the top.

MW2 is a fantastic follow up that doesn't muddle too much with the mixture of success found in the original, but instead just adds some more depth and a much higher level of polish. Whether you're a fan of the original MW or a newcomer to the series, this is easily one of the must-play titles this year.
