Blasphemous 2 is a 2D metroidvania with pixel graphics and heavy religious tones inspired in the Spanish Inquisition. From the looks of it, players who enjoyed the first title are in for a similar but improved experience with a whole new story, expanded move set and even gorier executions. There will certainly be many hidden secrets and powerful items hard to reach that reward thorough exploration, not to mention the different enemies and occasional boss fights.
Blasphemous 2 is gracing us with its dark and enchanting presence on August 24, 2023, and I'm beyond thrilled to continue the haunting journey! The first Blasphemous game was a mesmerizing blend of challenging gameplay and hauntingly beautiful visuals, and I can't wait to see what the sequel has in store. The promise of new nightmarish landscapes, intense boss battles, and even more intricate lore has me eagerly counting down the days. As a fan of metroidvania-style games, I know I'm in for a treat with Blasphemous 2.
