I'd only recommend to play this game with a wheel. Additionally, download Content Manager and you can unleash even more out of the standalone game. Also, please, please, please do yourself the biggest favour and get the Ultimate Edition for this game, you'll get much more content to mess around with and you can get the Ultimate Edition for so cheap nowadays and it's honestly worth it. Also check out Assetto Corsa Competizione, amazing sim for the cost of 9 Euro, then if you like that maybe consider getting a month membership for iRacing.

My favorite racing simulation. What I like the most about it is the realistic feel of driving. Graphics and sounds could be better but overall it's a great simulation game.
