Here are the confirmed titles for wave 1 and 2, coming to Game Pass March 2024. Lineup includes first Blizzard game to enter service with Diablo 4 on the 28th

Two months down to what looks like an incredible year for gaming. It has to be said, January and February gave us really good lineups with Game Pass. Not to mention, the surprises too!

Just a few days ago, Dead Island 2 surprised everyone with its inclusion on both Game Pass and Playstation Plus services. Whether this kind of surprise is something we can expect per month, we don’t know but it’s definitely something we will fully welcome and appreciate. Every month!

Xbox Game Pass March 2024 Joining Titles

Update March 20 – 5 new titles have been added this month which includes Terra Invicta, another game currently on Early Access/Game Preview. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 is also part of the list which follows MLB The Show movement with its predecessor leaving the service and getting replaced by its latest installment. Being that we’re nearing the end of the month, part of the update also revealed the first three games joining next month.


Game Pass March 2024 Free Games Wave 2


Update March 11 – NBA 2K24 went under the radar and has just been added to Xbox Game Pass without prior announcement nor marketing promos. Important to note though that the addition is only applicable to Console and Cloud. PC Game Pass subscribers will still not have access to the game.

Update March 9 – More games have been added to the first wave of games joining Game Pass this month. The list includes Paw Patrol World, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, Control Ultimate Edition, and No More Heroes 3. There’s also some movement with games leaving the service as Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered, previously announced to depart on the 15th, will no longer do so.


Game Pass March 2024 Free Games Wave 1


The service has started with 5 confirmed titles with more to be announced soon. Of the five, Diablo 4 is the first game from Blizzard joining the service since Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision.

We are also looking at three day-one launches that includes Open Roads which was initially supposed to release last month. It’s a really good lineup so far and we can’t wait to see the next wave or waves for Game Pass March 2024.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (PC, Console, Cloud)



Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is a single-player FPS set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe and puts you in control of a Space Marine, a genetically engineered and heavily armored warrior fighting against the forces of Chaos. These forces include Chaos Space Marines and daemonic creatures.

The gameplay is heavily influenced by FPS from the 1990s like Doom. It also features fast-paced action and close quarters combat.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is the first game to join Game Pass this month. Start playing it for free with your subscription on March 5, 2024.



Paw Patrol World (PC, Console, Cloud)



Paw Patrol World is a 3D open-world adventure game where you play as your favorite PAW Patrol pups, including Chase, Skye, Marshall, and Everest, and explore the familiar locations of Adventure Bay, Jake’s Mountain, the Jungle, and Barkingburg.

The game features a brand-new story, as well as missions inspired by the TV show. Throughout the game, you can collect pup treats, which can be used to unlock new pup costumes, vehicle stickers, and other customization options.

Paw Patrol World joins Game Pass on March 7, 2024.



NBA 2K24 (Console, Cloud)



NBA 2K24 is the latest installment in the popular basketball simulation game series which features new and improved game modes including MyCAREER, MyTEAM, Play Now, and My NBA.

There are also new features like ProPLAY, The W which is the WNBA full integration to the game series, 2K Beats soundtrack, and Mamba Moments which allows you to relive some of legend Kobe Bryant’s most iconic plays.

NBA 2K24 has been added to Game Pass for Console and Cloud only on March 11, 2024.



SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (PC, Console, Cloud)



Sure, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is a 2020 platformer game, a remake of the console versions of Heavy Iron Studios’ SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom in 2003.

The game features you playing as SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy as you thwart Plankton’s evil plan to take over Bikini Bottom with his army of wacky robots. You’ll encounter countless characters from the series and navigate through faithful recreations of iconic locations like Jellyfish Fields, the Krusty Krab, and Rock Bottom.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated will enter Game Pass on March 12, 2024.



Control Ultimate Edition (PC, Console, Cloud)



Control is an action-adventure game set in the Oldest House, a building in New York City that serves as a nexus for paranormal activity. You will play as Jesse Faden, a young woman who enters the Oldest House searching for her missing brother.

The game has a mix of third-person shooting and supernatural abilities. You can use different firearms to defeat enemies, as well as telekinetic and psychic abilities.

Control Ultimate Edition includes the base game and all the expansions released: The Foundation and AWE. Start playing Control Ultimate Edition for free on March 13, 2024 on Game Pass.



No More Heroes 3 (PC, Console, Cloud)



No More Heroes 3 is the fourth installment in the No More Heroes series and is the third mainline entry in the series. The game is an action-adventure hack and slash game set eleven years after the events of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle.

Travis Touchdown returns to the fictional city of Santa Destroy who must once again rise through the ranks of the United Assassins Association (UAA) in order to defend Earth from a deadly alien invasion.

The game also features a variety of side activities you can engage in like mowing lawns, participating in wrestling matches, and playing casino games which can help you earn money that can be used to purchase new weapons and upgrades.

No More Heroes 3 enters Game Pass on March 14, 2024.



Lightyear Frontier (PC, Console, Cloud)



Lightyear Frontier is a peaceful open-world farming adventure game set on a distant planet at the far edge of the galaxy, where you play as a pioneer starting a new life.

Unlike many survival games, Lightyear Frontier focuses on relaxation and exploration. So, there’s no combat, hunger, or thirst mechanics, allowing you to focus on building the farm and exploring the world. The world features a vast and diverse open world filled with unique biomes, from lush forests and vibrant coral reefs to towering mountains and vast deserts.

Experience a new world and encounter alien crops and animals on Lightyear Frontier. The game releases on March 19, 2024 and will launch on Game Pass on day-one.



MLB The Show 24 (PC, Console, Cloud)



MLB The Show 24 is the latest installment in the popular baseball video game series and features Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays on its cover.

This 19th entry in the series offers new features and gameplay improvements. Relive iconic moments from baseball history with the Derek Jeter or The Negro Leagues storylines with improved pitching and hitting mechanics. Also enjoy updated broadcast packages, player models, and even the stadium!

MLB The Show 24 is the second confirmed day-one launch on Game Pass March 2024 first wave of games. Play it for free with your active subscription on March 19, 2024. The game also supports cross-play and cross-progression.



The Quarry (Console, Cloud)



The Quarry is an interactive drama horror game where it follows nine teenage counselors at Hackett’s Quarry summer camp, enjoying their last night before closing down for the season. Their celebration takes a dark turn as they are hunted by mysterious creatures and bloodthirsty locals.

Your choices will determine the fate of each character, with the possibility of any counselor surviving or perishing throughout the night.

Start playing The Quarry for free on Game Pass Console and Xbox Cloud Gaming on March 20, 2024.



Evil West (PC, Console, Cloud)



Evil West is a 2022 third-person shooter game with a heavy dose of action and gore. It is set in the classic Wild West but mixed in with a supernatural twist.

You play as a monster hunter for a secret institute, battling bloodthirsty vampires and other monstrosities threatening to overrun the American frontier.

Evil West joins Game Pass on March 21, 2024.



Terra Invicta (PC)



Terra Invicta is a science fiction grand strategy game and centers around the arrival of hostile aliens on Earth. There are seven playable factions: The Assembly which believe in one global government, The Protectorate which is a coalition of militaristic nations, The Syndicate which sees the event as an economic opportunity, The Initiative which believe humanity needs to transcend its physical form to survive, The Resistance who fights at all costs, The Servants which believe humanity should submit, and Humanity First which purges the alien threat and preserves human purity.

The game is very complex with a steep learning curve. And it’s not just about dealing with the alien threat but also still managing the populaton’s economy, diplomacy, development and military.

Terra Invicta will be joining Game Pass PC through the Game Preview program starting March 26, 2024.



Diablo 4 (PC, Console, Cloud)



Diablo IV is an action role-playing game and the fourth main installment in the Diablo series. It is set in the world of Sanctuary, many years after the events of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, and is again under threat from the Prime Evils.

You can choose from five playable classes: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, or Sorcerer, and use their skills to complete quests and battle demons through an open world.

The game features a deep and complex itemization system, with countless unique items to find and collect. These items can be upgraded and customized to fit your playstyle.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbocharged (PC, Console, Cloud)



Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is a racing game, sequel to Hot Wheels Unleashed released in 2021. Like the first game, you will play a variety of vehicles and race against others in five different settings: an arcade, a family backyard, a mini-golf course, a museum, and a gas station diner.

The game features over 130 vehicles including new additions like monster trucks and motorcycles. Turbocharged adds a new story-driven campaign mode where you will race alongside a team of original characters on an epic adventure to save the city from destruction.

Open Roads (PC, Console, Cloud)



Open Roads is an interactive movie mystery-thriller and follows Tess Devine, a 16-year-old girl, who goes on a road trip with her mother, Opal. While exploring the attic, they discover old notes and letters hinting at a family mystery, including decades-old burglaries, a lost treasure, and darker secrets.

Despite their initial reluctance, they decide to explore a series of abandoned family properties across the country, unearthing the past and uncovering long-buried truths. You will experience the story from Tess’s perspective, making dialogue choices that influence the narrative and her relationships with other characters.

Open Roads will also launch on day-one on Game Pass. Start playing it for free on March 28, 2024.
