SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide Available Now With Official Launch Trailer
Bikini Bottom’s fun-loving duo are back in SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, Purple Lamps and Nikelodeon’s all-new 3D platformer that is officially available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.
This new, ghostly adventure throws SpongeBob and Patrick, with players able to switch seamlessly between the duo, into a chaotic escapade after the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune clash, unleashing ghosts across Bikini Bottom.
The 3D platformer is now available for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and developer Purple Lamps has released an official launch trailer.
Titans of the Tide: A Lighthearted, Family-Friendly 3D Platformer
In this all-new, lighthearted, and family-friendly adventure, SpongeBob and Patrick must embark on a spooky and fun-filled journey to return Bikini Bottom to normal following an epic ego clash between King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman.
The game is developed by Purple Lamp and published by THQ Nordic, the teams behind SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, ensuring a laugh-out-loud romp with fun platforming, light puzzles, and plenty of humor.
Mastering the Dynamic Duo: Combined Skills
While building on the core mechanics and platforming that made the previous games so much fun to play, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide allows players to switch seamlessly between SpongeBob and Patrick, using their unique abilities to solve environmental puzzles, explore, and defeat enemies.
SpongeBob is faster than Patrick, can blow bubbles and punch, while Patrick is stronger, able to lift, pull, and throw, and burrow under the ground. Switching between the two is a must throughout the game.
For the complete immersive experience, the game features the voices of the original cast of the show, which players of all ages will appreciate.
Exploring Iconic Locations: Mount Bikini, Neptune’s Palace, and More
The “ghostification” of Bikini Bottom is a serious threat that will send SpongeBob and Patrick on a desperate quest across various iconic locations such as Mount Bikini, Neptune’s Palace, and Goldfish Island.
Fans will also meet some of their favorite characters throughout the game, including Mr. Krabs, Squidward, and Sandy Cheeks, as well as the previously mentioned King Neptune and Flying Dutchman.
