It channels the grimy, cynical energy of classic Max Payne levels. You aren’t a superhero trying to save the world from an ancient evil. You’re just a guy scraping together enough cash to pay off a botched St. Louis heist. Miss your daily payment to the mob, and you’re dead. Simple as that.
