Sony has officially revealed when fans will get their next look at the future of PlayStation. The February PlayStation State of Play is now locked in, giving PS5 players a clear date to mark on their calendars as Sony prepares to showcase what’s next for its expanding lineup of games. With a longer-than-usual presentation confirmed and plenty of mystery surrounding the content, this month’s event has quickly become one of the most talked about PlayStation showcases of the year.

 

February’s Playstation State of Play Announced

Since launching in 2019, PlayStation State of Play has become a staple for PlayStation fans, serving as Sony’s primary digital showcase for game reveals, surprise announcements, shadow drops, and in-depth looks at upcoming titles.

Over the years, it has consistently delivered standout moments for players across the PlayStation ecosystem. The most recent State of Play aired in November of last year and featured a Japan-focused lineup, highlighting games such as Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake, MotionRec, and Tokyo Xtreme Racer.

For February’s event, Sony is keeping the lineup tightly under wraps to preserve maximum impact. The broadcast is confirmed to run for more than 60 minutes, which is significantly longer than a typical State of Play, and will spotlight new updates from PlayStation’s internal studios, alongside third-party and indie titles coming to PS5.

While no specific games have been officially teased, several high-profile appearances are widely anticipated including Marathon, PlayStation’s first major release of the year, as well as Saros, Marvel’s Wolverine, and Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation State of Play will air on February 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET / 10:00 PM GMT. Fans can watch the broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube, with the presentation airing in English and Japanese subtitles available.
