SCS Software definitely knows how to start a week. Not only did they announce the British Columbia DLC for America Truck Simulator, but they also revealed that Euro Truck Simulator 2 is expanding in the north. A long time wishlist for many fans, we are officially going to Ireland!

 

Euro Truck Simulator 2 Isle of Ireland DLC Announced

Euro Truck Simulator 2 has been around for a while and it has spanned for thousands of miles across different countries. There is one part of the world that is missing and has been on pretty much every single player’s wishlist: Ireland.

And so yesterday, SCS Software did not disappoint. Euro Truck Simulator 2 is officially taking the road to Ireland, both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This expansion lets drivers experience this part of the world in all its beauty, from lush rolling hills and rugged coastlines to bustling cities and charming villages.

   

The map features major destinations like Dublin, Belfast, Cork, and Galway, as well as serene rural towns such as Killarney, Sligo, and Cashel. Players can also expect to see some of the most iconic landmarks and natural wonders recreated in detail like the Rock of Cashel, Ben Bulben, the Samson & Goliath cranes. There will also be active ferry ports like Rosslare.

There’s definitely a lot more to unpack with this upcoming DLC, with more updates expected over the next few months. As of writing, SCS Software has not announced a release date yet but fans can already Wishlist it on Steam.
