Winter has officially hit D.C., and it is bringing more than just snow to the streets. The Division 2 Winter Event 2025 runs from December 16 through January 6, offering Agents one last major challenge to close out a packed year of updates.

While we have seen plenty of seasonal content and DLC throughout the year for The Division 2, this year’s Winter Event sees Krampus and his deadly Krampuslauf followers hunt badly behaved Agents across the map.
It is time to load up and stay warm as Ubisoft is closing out 2025 in style, with the Winter Event 2025 live from December 16 until January 6.
How to Complete The Division 2 Krampusnacht Bounty
To track down the main target, you first need to deal with his minions. Groups of Krampuslauf Named Enemies will spawn randomly throughout D.C., often ambushing you during open-world activities.
Defeating a pack of four Named Enemies grants a chance to trigger the specific Krampusnacht bounty. Taking down Krampus himself is the only way to secure the exclusive White Krampus Mask and a guaranteed Winter Key.

Inside The Division 2 Event Vendor’s Festive Caches
Once you have Winter Keys, earned via Krampusnacht bounties, Summit containers, or hidden gifts, head to the Event Vendor. The refreshed stock offers two distinct caches to choose from with your hard-earned money.
The Winter Apparel Cache features four stylish new outfits: Police Navidad, Leather Bomber, Glacial Ghillie, and BTSU Winter. You can aslo use Premium Credits for these keys if you are in a rush, and you won’t receive duplicates for vanity items.
However, the Winter Gameplay Cache is where the real power lies. It contains Named Items and offers a shot at rare Exotics like the Bell Ringer LMG, the raid-exclusive Eagle Bearer, or the elusive Ouroboros SMG.
Join the Division 2 Winter Community Challenge for the White Krampus Outfit
The Division 2 Winter Event isn’t just about personal gain, as it also requires a collective effort. You can donate your Winter Keys to the Winter Community Cache to progress a global counter.
Individually, hitting Bronze, Silver, and Gold donation milestones unlocks unique Arm Patches. But the real prize, if the community successfully donates 1,000,000 Winter Keys, is that everyone unlocks the full White Krampus Outfit. Make sure to claim your rewards before the January 6th deadline, or they will be lost to the blizzard.
The Division 2 Twitch Drops and The Summit Bonus Rewards
Ubisoft is adding a few extra incentives outside of the main bounty loop to keep players engaged. From December 16th to the 26th, watching supported streams enables Twitch Drops, rewarding items such as the Sleepy Snowman Backpack Trophy and Exotic Caches.
For those who prefer a tactical climb, The Summit has a hidden surprise. Clearing floor 100 during the event now has a chance to drop the terrifying Julmust Hunter mask, a perfect addition for collectors.
Verdict: Is The Division 2 Winter Event Worth Playing?
Whether you are a veteran or a returning agent, the Winter Event is one of the better seasonal content updates for The Division 2, and the chance to snag the Ouroboros without running the Incursion is too good to pass up. Jump in now to ensure the community hits that 1 million key goal.
