The Destiny 2 Console Open Beta is coming, and we’ve got all the information you’ll need to get yourselves ready! By the way, if you pre-ordered the game, you’ll get early access to the beta and play as early as 18 July!

Here’s when the Destiny 2 console open beta will go live and will end:

  • Playstation 4 Early Access – 18 July, 10am PST
  • Xbox One Early Access – 19 July, 10am PST
  • Console Open Beta (PS4 and Xbox One) – 21 July, 10am PST
  • Beta Ends – 23 July, 9pm PST
The beta for PC will follow sometime in August. In case you’re wondering what’s included in the beta, here’s a quick list for you:
  • “Homecoming” – Opening story mission
  • Two Crucible Modes – Countdown and Control
  • “The Inverted Spire” – Cooperative Strike
  • New Sub-Classes – Warlock (Dawnblade), Hunter (Arcstrider), and Titan (Sentinel)
  • “The Farm” – Social space available only for 1 hour on 23 July at 10am PST
  • New emblem which you can unlock in the full game once you complete the beta
The beta, on the other hand, does not include clan support, character progression within the beta itself, and any progress in the beta will not be carried over to the full game once it releases.

So mark your calendars and get your consoles ready!
