Stargate has never had a big success videogame, and it is sad, because the movie and later the SG1 TV series have lots of material for that. I really hope Timekeepers is a good game, that the missions themes, locations and the story remind of the TV episodes magic and the turn based combat with the team of specialists and their skills will be challenging enough. Just because I love SG-1 and it deserves a good adaptation, we will see when it releases.
Developed by Slitherine Ltd., the same team behind Starship Trooper: Terran Commando, is also finally coming Stargate: Timekeepers based on the homonymous franchise that many, now older, space fantasy will surely remember with the memorable 1994 film. Stargate: Timekeepers take a more tactic approach as an RTT where you'll guide a specialized group of soldier following the TV series, although with a different take on Season 7. As Eva McCain and her team, through a whole new mission!

Developed by Slitherine, a firm believer in science fiction, the game takes place at the end of season 7 of Stargate SG-1, during the Battle of Antarctica. Battles are highly tactical, and your strategic mind will be put to the test. However, it's the low-key approach that's favored here, with infiltration mechanisms reminiscent of the Desperados saga, for example. You'll need to use the environment, distract enemies and choose the right path.
Stargate: Timekeepers is an upcoming real-time tactics game set in the Stargate universe where you control a team of specialists across 14 different story-oriented missions. Infiltrate enemy lines and dispose of the enemies silently with access to various skills that can be used with synchronization to make kills in quick succession.
