Stargate has never had a big success videogame, and it is sad, because the movie and later the SG1 TV series have lots of material for that. I really hope Timekeepers is a good game, that the missions themes, locations and the story remind of the TV episodes magic and the turn based combat with the team of specialists and their skills will be challenging enough. Just because I love SG-1 and it deserves a good adaptation, we will see when it releases.

Battles are highly tactical, and your strategic mind will be put to the test. However, it’s the low-key approach that’s favored here, with infiltration mechanisms reminiscent of the Desperados saga, for example. You’ll need to use the environment, distract enemies and choose the right path.
