Nicktoons and the Dice of Destiny is exactly what you’re expecting it to be, and probably more. With standard ARPG elements mixed with classic characters from the Nickelodeon universe, this game straddles the line between compelling gameplay and frivolous fun. A great blend of nostalgia and gaming.

Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny is a nice entry level action RPG, which is especially fun if you play as a ranged attacker. It’s got more depth than I expected from a game aimed at kids, and as long as you avoid playing it on the Switch or Switch 2 (or there’s an update post launch) you’ll enjoy looting with SpongeBob and company.

Loot Level Chill

I’d imagine a lot of people going to this with ‘90s or ‘00s Nick nostalgia in their eyes could leave a little disappointed due to the overall simplicity, but this is an action RPG for the younger sect. More specifically, it’s an action RPG for adults with said nostalgia (and maybe some love for Diablo-esque games) to play with their children. It’s a serviceable dungeon crawler with a lot of love for the Nicktoons involved that is super cute and playful.
